THE DARK LORD OF ASS
Martin Eder is a Tausendsassa*. And we don’t just say that because nearly every magazine on this planet does. We simply had to meet this earthy painter, explorative photographer, intuitive sculptor and dark droning musician. We feel his complete range of work and now we know.
Sitting in his Berlin studio, interviewing him and browsing his archive leaves you smirking with the deep wish to never leave this homely place. Unfortunately, after five hours of exhausting visual impressions, means billion of keenly specific tits and asses, we had to leave.
This *jack of all trades stood up for a short questioning:
TISSUE Magazine: Your fetish?Martin Eder: My mechanical eye – my camera.TISSUE Magazine: Your work?
Martin Eder: I try to steal some time from the clock ticking. I am not only capturing some moments, I really want to cut it out and steal it, and keep it in a secret golden box in my house under the roots of the trees. I want to be accused of that crime.TISSUE Magazine: Your life?
Martin Eder: My life is simple. I am a very simple man.
Give me a house at the sea and I might never bother the world again with my work.TISSUE Magazine: Your world?
Martin Eder: My world is a wonderful spiral filled with madness mixed with chemicals, pigments and sleep. I try to recover everyday from the day before …
Thank God, I have a very strong will.

UN HOMMAGE À ROY STUART
Our homegirl Amanda Rose starring again, this time in an hommage to Roy Stuart quickly shot by our AD on one of those rare sunny days in Hamburg, Germany.
While freezing off her ass, this brave girl stood up for a short questioning:
TISSUE Magazine: Your fetish?
Amanda Rose: I am drawn to my mouth and my teeth physically. I am very visual for a female. I like colorful imagery. I like androgyny and youth and innocence on one side and raw and not always beautiful and experience on the other side. I like doing something I shouldn’t. Like to think about sex with a hisitic jew because I know I can never have one.
TISSUE Magazine: Your work?
Amanda Rose: I am moved by other artists, by the day to day and by Dave and James, my two best friends. I wish to inspire other people into action. Art is for everyone. Live life to the fullest. Move your ass a little but also take time to sit and look at a flower and the whole world inside of it.
TISSUE Magazine: Your life?
Amanda Rose: I wish for some inner peace. But not too much of it! Anxiety pushes expression for me. Now, my life is too stressful. I’m ready to settle down a bit.
TISSUE Magazine: Your life?
Amanda Rose: My perfect world is too far removed from reality. So for real life: the perfect world is making the best out of the cards you are dealt. And just the day to day – moments of joy, love, self-lessness. But there is no heaven without a hell, no?
No, there isn’t.
